Privacy policy
Short version: your name and birth details never leave your browser. If you use Ask your chart, only your question and your chart facts are sent to write the answer, and nothing is kept. We have no accounts, set no cookies and run no analytics or ad trackers.
Birth chart and panchang tools
All calculations run in your browser with JavaScript. Your name, birth date, birth time and birth place are not sent to us or to anyone else, and they are not saved.
Ask your chart
Ask your chart is optional. When you press Ask my chart, your browser sends two things to our server: the question you typed, and the chart facts your browser worked out (your Sun, Moon and rising signs, the sign and house of each planet, your Moon nakshatra and pada, and your current dasha). It never sends your name or your exact birth date, time or place.
Our server, which runs on Cloudflare, passes the question and those facts to an AI model on Cloudflare Workers AI to write the answer, and sends the answer back to your browser. We do not save your question, the chart facts or the answer, and we do not log them.
To keep the service free we allow 3 questions per visitor per day. To count them, the server turns your IP address into a one-way scrambled code that changes every day, and keeps only that code and a count until the end of the day (UTC), when it is deleted. Your IP address itself is not stored. Please do not type your name, contact details or other personal information into the question box.
Place search
When you type a place, we first search a city list built into the site. If you choose to search for more places, the text you typed (only the place name) is sent to Open-Meteo's free geocoding service to find matching places. See Open-Meteo's terms.
Your settings
If you switch the card wall to Vedic, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage on your device. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Hosting and fonts
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages securely. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when your browser fetches them.
If you email hello@horoscopefriend.com, we use your message only to reply. We never sell or share it.
