About horoscopefriend

horoscopefriend is a friendly astrology site for readers around the world. We show Western and Vedic astrology side by side, and we work out every chart and reading from where the planets really are.

How our readings are made

1. Each morning our own astronomy code computes the positions of the Sun, Moon, planets and lunar nodes for 12:00 UTC.
2. For each sign we note real facts: which of your houses the Moon is in, which planets are in your sign, and where your sign's ruler is.
3. A short reading is written from those facts. Most days an AI writer (Cloudflare Workers AI) drafts it; if it is unavailable, our template writes it. Every text passes our banned-words and tone checks before it goes live.
4. The reading replaces yesterday's on the same page. We do not make a new page every day.

Our maths

Our planet positions come from code we wrote from published astronomy methods, and we test it against NASA JPL Horizons (3 test charts, checked 2026-10-25: within 0.6 minutes of arc). We use the tropical zodiac for Western astrology and the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa for Vedic astrology.

What we do not do

• We never predict health, money, legal matters or other life events.
• We sell no gemstones, remedies or paid reports.
• We do not store your birth details: the birth chart tool runs in your browser.

The old website at this address

This domain hosted a small horoscope site many years ago. We are a new, independent site and are not connected to any business that used this address before.
